C Speed Wins DHS Radar Sustainment Recompete
C Speed is proud to announce it was awarded the L-88 radar sustainment re-compete task order by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) comprised of one base year and two option years. This task order provides depot level sustainment and maintenance activities for the L-88 series radars providing critical support for the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) and its mission. The TARS system provides air surveillance across the Southern U.S. border and Puerto Rico using a unique look-down radar capability that allows CBP to detect aircraft that would not be detected through a ground-based system due to its low altitude and/or terrain masking limitations.
